Every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. As a parent, I understand how it feels to see your child struggling and not knowing how to help them.
As an educational professional, I know how complex and difficult navigating the education system can be. My job is to partner with families and help them gain a deep, meaningful understanding of their child’s unique strengths and needs, and how we can use that information to help their child thrive both inside and outside of the classroom. I strive to alleviate as much stress, uncertainty, and confusion as possible as we work together to support your child.
I graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2008 and earned my Master’s Degree in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Developmental Psychology from George Mason University in 2010. I then completed the School Psychology graduate program at George Mason University, earning a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in School Psychology in 2013.
I have been a Nationally Certified School Psychologist since 2013 and a Licensed Educational Psychologist since 2015. I have been completing comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations since 2012 and worked in public education as a School Psychologist for thirteen years, with eight of those years in a management role. I completed Santa Clara County Office of Education’s Leaders in Education Administration Program in 2020, completing the requirements for the preliminary Administrative Services Credential.
I have extensive experience with comprehensive evaluations, special education, and navigating the educational system. I love my work and am a passionate advocate for students and families. I want every student and family that I work with to feel seen, understood, and supported.
In my free time, I love being with my husband, three young boys, and our dog. We like to spend a lot of time outside and I love watching them explore and learn. I am also an avid reader and love immersing myself in books.
